T2 Westfield
The Westfield Terminal 2 at LAX Airport was a two-phase project that comprised of renovating and upgrading the look and feel of the terminal.
The Westfield Terminal 2 at LAX Airport project entailed renovating and upgrading the look and feel of the Terminal 2 Concourse with a design that was dynamic, visually appealing, and unexpected in an airport environment. Construction occurred over an 18-month period and the airport remained operational 24/7, requiring successful coordination between the Owner, other airlines, government agencies, the airport, and the City of Los Angeles. The combined efforts of these entities minimized operational impacts and maintained a positive passenger experience during construction. Highlights of the program included:
- Renovation and expansion of food and beverage and retail locations
- Finish and furniture upgrades to hold-rooms that included carpet and cluster seating
