Afternoon Tea

Please review the following prior to making a reservation.

Future Reservation Dates

Spring 2016 Flynn Afternoon Teas will wrap up this April. Reservations for programs in December 2016 and April 2017 will open for members on July 25, 2016 and for the general public on August 1, 2016.

Tea Details

Teas last around two hours. Well-mannered children are most welcome.

All guests are seated at tables of four and five guests in the historic Flynn Dining Room. Guests will meet their tea host at the Living History Farms Visitor Center and then drive their own vehicles to a parking area next to the historic home. Roads may be muddy or snowy. Wear your tea finery, but sensible shoes are recommended.

Pricing

Tea reservations are $30/person, or $25/LHF member, regardless of age.

You may book 1-18 spots at a tea service.

Due to space constraints we cannot seat more than 18 people per service.

Changes to an existing reservation must be made at least 14 days prior to your tea service and will be subject to an administration fee of 35% per person.

Payment

Full payment is due at the time of reservation. Please, no partials payments.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Check or Cash.

Payment by check must be received within 2 weeks of making your reservation.

Gift certificates are available.

If paying with a gift certificate, we must receive the physical gift certificate to confirm payment within 2 weeks of making your reservation.

Cancellations

No refund is given for a cancellation made less than 14 days prior to your afternoon tea service.

Cancellations occurring at least 14 days prior to your program will be refunded the purchase price less a 35%
administration fee.

Cancellations by Living History Farms will be either rescheduled or refunded in full.

Victorian afternoon tea services must have at least 12 spots filled to run.

If a tea service does not have enough guests to fill the program, we will work with you to move your reservation to another date, or provide a full refund if that is not possible.

If a tea service runs as scheduled, no refund will be given for your absence.
