Village Tea Rooms

The Village TeaRoom is a unique gathering place, serving Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Tapas & Dinner in the heart of the historic village of New Paltz.
We serve a variety of scones, muffins, cookies and cakes, freshly made in our kitchen from pure wholesome ingredients. At lunch we offer a choice of soups & sandwiches made with Bread Alone's Organic award winning bread & fresh seasonal ingredients. Our a la carte dinner menu showcases seasonal local produce in a variety of delicious homey, but sophisticated comfort foods. Light Fare & Tapas is available throughout the evening.
This land marked, historic building's three dining rooms and two outdoor spaces offer romantic nooks as well as family friendly spaces. The banquette nook and children's seating with a chalkboard wall and toys leads to a private patio, fenced and gated where tall old maples offer shade and seating for twenty.

The Village TeaRoom Restaurant & Bake Shop is a unique restaurant, in the heart of the Village of New Paltz, located in a landmarked, 200 year old building that was formerly the village tailor shop.
Our menus feature, seasonal traditional hearty dishes from a variety of European cooking traditions.
The Bake Shop celebrates the art of baking with artisanal methods and ingredients and local farms provide an abundance of ingredients and inspiration throughout the year. A member of the Hudson Valley chapter of Slow Food, the restaurant's mission is to offer high quality local seasonal & organic food at reasonable prices.
Many of our guests plan their visit to the area around dining at our restaurant. Sunday mornings, neighbours heading home with the Times, stop in for freshly baked scones and coffee.
